Meet Sara Guida

I help adult children plan for a parent's care, money, and final wishes, before a crisis makes the decisions for them.

Why I Started the Aging Parent Resource Center

I started out helping families set up funeral trusts. Again and again, I met adult children, most of them daughters, who were trying to sort out Medicaid, legal documents, and care choices at the same time. Usually in the middle of a crisis.

They weren't short on love. They were short on plain answers. Every website said something different, and every decision felt urgent.

They weren't short on love. They were short on plain answers. Every website said something different, and every decision felt urgent.

So I built the Aging Parent Resource Center: one place to learn the rules, get the checklists, and ask questions before the phone call comes. I'm an educator, not an attorney. My job is to help you understand your options and know which questions to ask the professionals.

Your plan, your way.

What I Do, and What I Don't

Knowing where my role ends helps you get the right help faster.

What I do

  • Help families set up funeral trusts as a licensed insurance agent

  • Share checklists, guides, and tools

  • Host a monthly live Q&A for members

  • Point you to the right attorney or professional when you need one

What I don't do

  • Give legal, tax, or financial advice

  • Draft legal documents for you

  • Represent any state Medicaid agency

  • Pressure you into buying anything

What Families Can Count On

Plain answers

No legal jargon. If a rule matters, I'll explain what it means for your family.

No pressure

Free calls stay free. You'll leave with next steps whether or not you work with me.

Plan before the crisis

The best time to plan is before a fall or a hospital stay. The second best time is now.
